At Miles Farmers Market, our cashiers are more than just the last stop in a shopping trip—they’re the friendly face that leaves a lasting impression. As a cashier, you’ll be responsible for ringing up purchases, bagging orders, and providing exceptional customer service to every person who walks through our doors.

We’re looking for individuals who bring a positive, friendly attitude and are ready to help make each customer’s experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate the register and accurately process customer purchases

• Bag customer orders with care and efficiency

• Assist with general customer service needs and help shoppers as needed

Our cashiers are essential to the continued success of our store. You’re not just scanning items—you’re building relationships and helping create the welcoming environment we’re known for.

Position Details:

• Full-time (5 days/week)

• Pay: $13–$16/hour, depending on experience

• Requires weekend and holiday availability

• Holiday closures: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter

• Shortened hours on summer holidays

No experience? No worries.
While previous cashier experience is helpful, it’s not required. We offer hands-on training for individuals who are eager to learn and grow. Your training begins with shopping for items throughout the store to get familiar with our products. You’ll then ring out your cart with your trainer and learn how our registers operate. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll begin ringing real customer orders with full support from your trainer, who will bag and assist as you learn.
